Almond Mylk my way…
Category: What's new?
It seems that lotsa peeps think almond mylk is hard to make, but not so! Here’s the lowdown! Takes just a few minutes…
4C clean water
2/3 C almond, soaked for atleast an hour
One **vanilla bean
3 average size dates
1T coconut oil
pinch of sea salt
Blend it all up in your high powered blender, strain and enjoy…
The trick to save time is to soak the almonds the night before. Also, you don’t have to soak them if you need nut mylk now…
This is very yummy as a cow’s milk replacement.
**Here is a link to the beans I love to use because they have a unique yummy flavor.
Premium Bourbon-Madagascar Vanilla Beans – 1/2 lb. – Approx. 54 beans

Hi
I have a question about the vanilla – do you take the beans out from the vanilla pods?

It depends on what you’re using the vanilla beans for. I blend the almond mylk in my Vitamix and use a nutmylk bag so I just use the whole bean. When I add it to a recipe I scrape the little beans out
