<p><span style="color: #000000;">In this series, we will be looking at the basic steps to moving toward health.  One step at a time&#8230;</span></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #000000;"> </span></p>
<div style="text-align: center;"><img id="internal-source-marker_0.7744256013538688" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/zOTzhwEiShdyjCTgqVJViSIlIExnUAC7bUKLOy9CAIqKPtbKnSoPjZ7fbL78bcw4Lq7C8wTUkOafs92ivKXaqnCRHK-Gl8jkWOYYMo419Q3DGBxAwg" alt="" width="212px;" height="119px;" /></div>
<h3 style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #000000;">2011.  Did you make resolutions this year? </span></h3>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">I find that setting new goal for the upcoming year, month, week, day or even hour to be incredibly helpful.  Just the act of writing a goal down on paper or chalkboard is motivating enough to help make the difference&#8230;</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">I agree with Bob Harper of Biggest Loser when he says that the<span style="text-decoration: underline;"> <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o5kMZR-LkKQ" target="_blank">#1 tip to looking and feeling better is to stay hydrated!</a></span> Figuring out how much water you should be drinking is NOT rocket science:</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;"><br />
</span></p>
<address style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #808000;"><strong> YOUR WEIGHT<br />
divided in HALF<br />
=ounces per day you need to maintain excellent hydration.</strong></span></address>
<p style="text-align: center;">
<p>In order to help me keep a general idea of how I&#8217;m doing, I use a glass that I know has 16 ounces and then just figure how many of them I need to drink.  A reusable water bottle would work as well and is what I prefer if I&#8217;m out running errands.</p>
<p>Happy Hydrating!</p>
<p>*If you haven&#8217;t been drinking much water, try adding one extra glass today, then another extra glass tomorrow, until you&#8217;ve reached your hydration goal on a daily basis.</p>
<p>**I&#8217;ve already had 5 glasses today&#8230;   I  can feel a big difference- Wow!</p>
<p>***Never drink more than 33.8oz at one sitting (about a liter)</p>
