<p>Maybe it&#8217;s as simple as picking up a few things from the store for a recipe that has <em><strong>that</strong></em> special ingredient you&#8217;ve been wanting to try&#8230;</p>
<p>Maybe it involves stopping by a friends house to apologize for not being there for them that last time they needed you.</p>
<p>Maybe you realize that you haven&#8217;t been listening to your <strong>own needs </strong>and you need to plan something fun&#8230;</p>
<p><strong>Just as there are reasons to alter your course of travel in this life, there are  reasons to alter the path you&#8217;ve chosen for your health:</strong></p>
<p>You may be on life&#8217;s path and recieve a bad diagnosis&#8230;</p>
<p>You may realize that you need to lose or gain weight&#8230;</p>
<p>Your energy levels may not be up to par&#8230;</p>
<p>You may realize you haven&#8217;t slept well in weeks&#8230;</p>
<p>Maybe you don&#8217;t have peace&#8230;</p>
<p>Maybe you are just out of balance- not focusing on what&#8217;s important RIGHT NOW&#8230;</p>
<p><em>Do you feel like the road that EVERYONE is telling you to take  is not YOUR authentic way? </em></p>
<p>You are unique and multifaceted.  You are coming from a different beginning place than anyone else.  You have original paths to tread.  Occasionally,  your path will join with another&#8217;s and you can go along together for a time.  At times you will find yourself having to significantly change plans while others seem carefree.</p>
<p><em><strong>Please don&#8217;t wait</strong></em> for a major roadblock to force you look for an alternate route.  Check your life balance to see which areas of your journey need constructin NOW&#8230; Which areas are you excelling in, and which have detour signs?</p>

<p><span style="color: #000000;">Sooooo&#8230;  How do you actually put this into practice?  I mean&#8211; anyone can eat an apple, right?   But how many days have you gone without your apple a day?!<br />

<p style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #000000;"><strong>Why IS it so hard to </strong><strong>follow the straight and narrow road</strong>? </span></p>

<div id="r0in" style="text-align: left;"><span style="color: #000000;">There are 2 main reasons why you find yourself going back to those <em>other</em> foods.. you know, the ones that are literally killing you little by little.</span></div>

<li style="text-align: left;"><span style="color: #000000;">Whether you realize it or not, you are in a relationship of sorts with the foods you put into your body.  Do the foods that you <em>love</em>&#8211; <strong>love you back</strong>?  If so, wonderful!  You&#8217;ve been choosing thoughtfully&#8230;  If the foods you <em>love</em> don&#8217;t love you back, then <strong>why</strong> are they your favorites?  It&#8217;s time to rethink what your values are.  Surely you value your life more than  processed franken-food?! </span><span style="color: #000000;"><strong>You deserve a healthy relationship!</strong></span></li>
<li style="text-align: left;"><span style="color: #000000;">Once you have a healthy relationship foundation built, it&#8217;s time to take a look at another side of this story.  You have most likely been taught to <em>eliminate</em> bad things.  <em>Quit</em> smoking,<strong> </strong><em>lose</em> weight, <em>stop</em><strong> </strong></span>drinking, etc.  I propose that these ideas have negative connotations to them.   When you consciously<span style="color: #000000;"><strong> </strong><em>eliminate</em> certain things, you have a tendency to feel deprived&#8230; even if you are not in the least deprived!  (Chalk it up to our very technical subconscious mind)  It is much more effective to practice <strong>abundance</strong> thinking.  <strong>Focus on adding in things that you <span style="text-decoration: underline;">want</span> in your life.</strong> You will undoubtedly find yourself running out of room for the unhealthy things.  Don&#8217;t tell yourself what you<strong> </strong><em>can&#8217;t</em> have bread this week, for example, somply make it a point to include 2 fruits and a big salad today.  If you still have room for bread&#8211; go for it.<br />

<li><span style="color: #000000;">Well, I&#8217;m gonna start with sharing my story first, and get that out of the way.  For over 20 years (<em>and I&#8217;m dating myself a bit here!)</em> I&#8217;ve been an avid learner, studying all different aspects of</span></li>

<li><span style="color: #000000;">nutrition</span></li>
<li><span style="color: #000000;">fitness</span></li>
<li><span style="color: #000000;">psychology</span></li>
<li><span style="color: #000000;">dream-building</span></li>
<li><span style="color: #000000;">goal-setting</span></li>
<li><span style="color: #000000;">and anything else I could get my hands on!</span></li>
</ol>

<li><span style="color: #000000;">To start off, I was very fortunate to be raised knowing how to eat healthfully and to have been taughtjust putting on some fun music and dancing crazily around the house with my Mom.   the importance of being active very early on in my life, whether that meant doing ballet, tap, jazz dance, gymnastics, ice skating, aerobics, jazzercise, body weight exercises, yoga or</span></li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><span style="color: #000000;">At the tender age of 18 I was challenged by a close friend to see how different I would look and feel after 30 days with absolutely no sugar in my diet. That was the beginning of my awareness.  Prior to that challenge I subconsciously felt as if my health was just happening to me.  I was amazed at how I could make changes and the very obvious improvement that occured in my health and skin!  ~<span style="text-decoration: underline;">Now</span>, most people are aware of the damage sugar has on our body, but if you are not one of the people who have tried eliminating sugar for any length of time, I challenge you to just try it and see for yourself!</span></li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><span style="color: #000000;">Personally, I&#8217;ve run the gamut of health interests starting with herbs, and moving on to teas, broadening into essential oils, whole foods (<em>even did the high protein diet for a year!</em>) non-dairy, hypo-allergenic, gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan and now I have found the wonderful health and vitality that a high raw, living foods lifestyle has to offer.</span></li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><span style="color: #000000;">I have  my beautiful friend Sarah Martel, who&#8217;s a very knowledgeable nutritionist in Northern California to thank for patiently introducing me to nutmylks and living foods.  She&#8217;s such a blessing.  (<em>And, off the record, she&#8217;s agreed to do a guest appearance on a future teleseminar! You won&#8217;t want to miss that!</em>)</span></li>
<li><span style="color: #000000;">The journey into the world of raw, living foods has been quite eventful!  I&#8217;ve become friends with some of the cream of the crop in the raw food world: I&#8217;m blessed to be able to call Susan Powers, Sunshine Boatwright, Penny Shelton, Blaqberry and many, many others my friends and fellow entrepreneurs.  I&#8217;ve had the opportunity to travel around the country and connect with my new friends and cohorts and I&#8217;ve become a member of several online communities and challenges.</span></li>
</ul>

<li><span style="color: #000000;">I am now loving the Health Transitions &amp; Life Coaching that i have the opportunity to do both in private settings and corporately as well.  I feel so blessed,  working with absolutely brilliant and beautiful people at all different levels of health and many different focuses.</span></li>

<p><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">This is your life journey.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">You live it day by day.   It is meant to be lived large!  What have you done with it so far?  Are you leading or following?  Even if you&#8217;re leading, it&#8217;s likely that there is someone, somewhere that you&#8217;re measuring yourself up against&#8230;  Kinda like 2 kids, back to back when they&#8217;re checking to see who&#8217;s taller. I&#8217;ve heard many people talk about their &#8216;life purpose&#8217; as the one thing they should do with their life. I believe we have many callings and purposes.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">Stick with me here for just a few&#8230;</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">Are you familiar with the Proverbs 31 woman?  She was the epitome of the perfect woman back in the day!  Listen to this to-do list:</span></p>
<ul>
<li><span style="color: #000000;">she gets up way before everyone in the house to make sure they are taken care of and fed</span></li>
<li><span style="color: #000000;">she imports great foreign foods from interesting places</span></li>
<li><span style="color: #000000;">She exercises to keep herself in top shape</span></li>
<li><span style="color: #000000;">her house is clean and beautiful</span></li>
<li><span style="color: #000000;">her children are productive, not lazy</span></li>
<li><span style="color: #000000;">she has strength and honor, wisdom and kindness</span></li>
<li><span style="color: #000000;">She gives to the poor and helps people in need</span></li>
<li><span style="color: #000000;">she prepares her family for winter by making them warm, lovely clothes before they need them (no last minute Wal-Mart run here!)</span></li>
<li><span style="color: #000000;">she makes herself beautiful clothes and looks stunning</span></li>
<li><span style="color: #000000;">Her handywork and sewing are excellent</span></li>
<li><span style="color: #000000;">She buys land and plants vineyards</span></li>
<li><span style="color: #000000;">She starts hand made textiles business from the ground up</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">Wow&#8230;.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">There was a time that  I used to try to measure my daily life by that standard.  I would lament over how little i was doing compared to this woman.   until i came to the understanding that this was a snapshot of a &#8216;virtuous woman&#8217;s&#8217; whole life accomplishments.  Here&#8217;s a question for you&#8230; What accomplishments do you want to look back on in 20 years?   20 years from now, there&#8217;s a good chance that you won&#8217;t remember most of the things taking up your to-do list today (<em>except for this call, of course</em>).  As a matter of fact, unless you purposefully do something meaningful with your day, you probably won&#8217;t remember this day by next month.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">Many times, brilliant men and women miss out on years of purpose filled living by giving the squeaky wheel all of their attention!  I mean, don&#8217;t get me wrong, I understand that squeaky wheels do have to be taken care of, but when you miss the appointment that you were on your way to- in order to lube the wheel, it&#8217;s time to take a good hard look at rearranging your priorities!  The most important issue is, what are you going to do with this day, month or year of your life?  You don&#8217;t get them back, you only get one shot at each day.</span></p>

<div style="text-align: left;"><span style="color: #000000;">Your life is not meant to be lived separated into  pieces and parts.  You really need balance in all of the areasgood hard look at life, it is often a big wake-up call.  Are you ready to LIVE life and not feel like you&#8217;re always trying to catch up with other people&#8217;s expectations of what your life should be?  <span style="text-decoration: underline;">Are you ready???</span> Close your eyes and imagine yourself a year or more from now waking up in a comfortable bed, well rested and eager for the day.  Can you hear the birds singing outside of the window?  Is the cool morning breeze stirring your curtains?  Imagine sitting up and stretching your arms out for a big breathe of fresh air. Now let yourself imagine: if you absolutely could NOT fail and ALL fear is out of the question, what would you be doing in this beautiful day in the future??</span><span style="color: #000000;"><br />
</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">(**pause** I am going to give you a moment to visualize and write this down.)<br />
You may want to work back through these exercises to get the full value of the visualization.  Work with different ideas, for instance&#8230;.  Imagine waking up and what your schedule would look like.  Or how you&#8217;ll be using some latent talent that you&#8217;ve been neglecting.  Think about what you do or offer that&#8217;s your special thing&#8230;  Imagine your relationships with family and friends, your fitness activities for the day, and what you see yourself eating.  Definitely imagine what you&#8217;ll be including in this future day for fun and recreation! My life made a complete turn around after working through this exercise!</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">Life has many seasons beyond Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter&#8230;  Let&#8217;s see&#8230; in my own life there has been the Hindsight-is-20/20-season and the classic One-Foot-in-Front-of-the-Other-to-survive season, as well as the best-time-ever season and the I-was-born-for-such-a-time-as-this season.  Seasons of your life will just happento you, much like the weather, if you&#8217;re not paying attention.  When you take the time to get a vision of where it is you can dream of going, you create the seasons of your life.  I call this the Breaking Out Of the Habitrail exercise.  You don&#8217;t have to live your life exactly like your neighbor, co-worker or best friend.  You are unique and talented, ( <em>yes, you!</em>).  Anything is possible, and this exercise is especially helpful to find your callings and purposes.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">It&#8217;s very important to write this down in order to begin heading that direction!  Write it all down, page after page until you absolutely cannot stand to write anymore for needing to jump up and get started!  Mind map it if that works best for you, draw it, build it, sing it, whatever it takes! <img src='http://freshblessings.net/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif' alt=':D' class='wp-smiley' /> </span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">Sometimes you may have a hard time imagining a day in your life different from today.  You may feel as if you&#8217;ve hit a brick wall.  May I propose that this only LOOKS like a brick wall.  It is actually the side of a cliff, and if you&#8217;ll back up a tiny bit and look up out of your situations, you&#8217;ll realize thatyou can take it and climb up to the next level in your life.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">When you&#8217;ve gotten well into that process, and you have an idea of what you&#8217;d be doing on that beautiful no fear/ no fail day, ask yourself what would keep you from creating this reality?  Write all of the potential obstacles, whether real or imagined.  And if all of this was taken care of, is there anything else that could hold you back?  And if that was taken care of, is there anything else that would hold you back.  ~That&#8217;s it.  You don&#8217;t have to fix the problems, just be aware of them.  History is chock full of ordinary people becoming extraordinary because they had difficult situations to overcome.</span></p>
